I just got my first Chris Reeve knife and I feel like I'm hooked. I have had nice knives before but nothing that cost this much and now I am thinking I need another! It is a like a head cold you catch and the only thing about this cold you love it and you don't want it to go away. No medicine for me except another Chris Reeve Knife needed!

Have a good day everybody!

I am up to 3 in about 4 months of being interested in CRK knives. I have 2 small 21's (micarta insingo & geometric CGG) and one large (Knifeart CF insingo) and would eventually love to pick up at least one Nyala and Mnandi.

But I am not maxing out my credit cards or actively selling my other knives to be able to buy these (at least, not yet) so I guess I wouldn't call it an addiction. :)

I hear ya. Im up to 3 CRK in about 2.5 months. I bought a few things a couple years back that have skyrocketed in value so the CRK bug hasn't been too bad on my wallet yet.

Funny thing is, you buy one, have it in your house and before you know it, they're multiplying. They must be the species that breed with themselves. I just can't recall when I acquired all the CRK's that I have now.
It is very easy to get addicted to the CRK's.

I have the bug bad, have had it for years all the way up to 101 CRK and counting......Think there is a cure....????

My 1st was delivered today...bought from knife Art Black Carbon Fiber small Sebenza 21 and OMG I have never owned such a knife!

Can't seem to o post pic

Buck

The bug is alive in all that it touches...it may sit dormant from time to time with occasional flair ups. I just picked up another small insingo. Last year was the CF inlay insingo, this year its the micarta inlay insingo...

I've been looking at the Sebenza 25 for my next knife. Any comments about the 25? I think I'm infected! Lol

This sub forum is basically a recovery group for people that have this CRK bug. Only issue is nobody ever seems to get cured of buying more.

I have been infected big time, already sold a bunch of other knives I dont use to buy another Sebenza:thumbup:

Get it!!! I've been carrying 1 for close to a year and it is used and abused. Smoother action than my small 21's and a whole lot heftier.

I have two Sebenzas 21 and 25 and I like both but I do prefer the 21 maybe because I got it first. I also have a nice collection of other high end folders and also a few custom knives.

CRK are ENGINEERED to last a long long time if well looked after and not abused.

They feel good in the hand look good and are very sturdy being all metal construction.

Weight is just right for the size, in a few words excellent knives if not the best.

That is one manufacturer that got the right picture of what a real good edc folder should be. I am not going to comment on cost/prices but after all these knives are great to possess even if it going to be one and only one.

I carry on buying knives all the time but the one that is with me right now is my Sebenza 21. The more I use it the more I handle it and the more I understand why it is a masterpiece in the folding knife category. It is not a coincidence that CR has consistently made great sturdy knives mostly made with Titanium handles and very tight tolerances. The rest is a success story that only him has the secret.

There is no cure. I'm stage 4 crk sick. The doctor says there is nothing he can do, the crk disease is immune to any meds or antibiotics. If the bug bites you don't fight it, just enjoy the journey.
Running out of funds could be a cure but there is always something to sell....
Well I thought I was on to something there, guess not.
Oh well time to go order another crk. :)
