I scored one of the Hollow Ground Rodent Solutions. I am pretty excited I think it will make an excellent EDC. I think instead of kydex for it I will get one of the armor all sheaths for the solution.

I am in the queue for a custom ArmorAlleather sheath for it. I had planned on the sheath being for a regular RMD, but my Ganza score changed those plans.

I did get the nuclear rmd tho :D
I think it will need a special sheath :)

I'm thinking it's going to be a user. I'll make a couple of sheaths for it, but don't know how much it will really get carried. When I saw it, my first thought was that it was perfect to be my Kali fighter that I've been looking for. Anxious to see if that spine is sharpened. It will replace the customized RatManDeux LE. Hate to let it go but it never got used either.

So, they will make allowances for some changes, huh? I wonder if I Could get my Nuclear RMD with Red/black G10. Not a standard handle, but, man, that would match my Rucki!!!!

I scored a satin Rucki and the satin RMD variant with the shorter nuclear treatment. :D

Some minor changes, yes. I imagine it matters whether or not that part is done or not. In the case of the handle material, I'm guessing it might matter whether they have cut them yet, and if not, whether they have other colors available that are not reserved for other things. In the case of the Nuclear RMD, I think those grips were black paper, so maybe, maybe not since G10 would technically be an upgrade?

For the record, I did also ask about changing the handle material, but I did not get a reply to that particular question yet, so I just sent an e-mail asking again. I agree that red/black would look pretty sweet on these, and so would black/tan (though the blue/black isn't too bad either).
 
I was hoping there would be a small handful of the nuked m9s and rmds, but now I'm wondering if there was only the one m9...

I got rejected on the M9, too. Never had so much trouble trying to drop 300 bucks on a knife; Ohio must be flying much higher than the rest of the country right now.

On a brighter note, my 2011 Traditional Forum knife arrived today and.... it opens beers!! Cap lifter in tha house!! :thumbup::D:thumbup:

Thanks bro! Yeah that was me guys who scored the M9. I feel extremely lucky to have snagged such an awesome one-of-a-kind piece at an affordable price. Congrats to all who scored! Those nuked rats were calling to me but I had my eyes set on that M9! :thumbup:
 
Necroing this thread. Just wondering if I am the only one anticipating their Rodents from the Ganza? I still cant wait to get that Hollow Ground Rodent Solution :D.

ETA. This isnt a impatient thread. I just thought some others could help me through the waiting jitters haha.

I have two HGRS' coming so I'm with ya, definitely looking forward to these :)
 
I have a satin waki and bowie RMD on the way and am also very eager to get them!
