Hey Guys,

Longtime no-see. The forums have sure changed alot in the months I've been away.

Anyway, I was on ebay earlier today and i saw something interested. Apparently Famed Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe has decided to try their hand at making knives:

Now I know what your all thinking. "That blade is pretty expensive." Well, that's true, but I am sure as they start making more the prices will come down to where everyone can afford them.

Well... that's about it for now, I just saw the knife and it made me think of y'all.

Wow, I'll have to add this to my half dozen or so Patek Philippe watches. I wish.
All my extra money goes to buying knives, and that one is not one I would spend over $10000.00 on.

$10,000 for a letter opener! For that kind of money I could probably get Tim Herman to build me a Talonite Sliver with holes drilled in it.

I think this nears the apex of Conspicuous consumption.
The apex, I suppose would be solid gold envelopes made to be opened with this monstrosity.
