Mammoth tooth Buck 110 by Brian Yellowhorse. A Coper & Clad exclusive. I received an email from Copper & Clad last evening (on a Sunday?).
I immediately went to the web site and it is shown as out of stock. Darn, they went quick, someone knew about it before me.

I almost did yesterday. thought about it for awhile and passed. could have though. they sat a bit yesterday. considering there was only 2 of them.

I clicked over as soon as the email hit and had the same result "Out of Stock". Seem to be a lot of that going around these days (124 on Buck website, hint, hint)

They do show 4 in stock right now, but for the price, I am passing. Also, they have that dang first of xxx/100 engraving on them that drives me crazy. I do like the Brian Yellowhorse with year etching though.

You can all relax again, it's sold out now. But I think it's pretty nice and I was glad I came in here this afternoon and saw that it was active, so I grabbed one. I don't mind the xxx/100, and I like the Yellowhorse etching. And I'm also glad there is no LIMITED EDITION nonsense (unless I didn't look closely enough). But this is so different from the rest of the 110's in my collection it just seemed like an obvious buy for me. Pics when it arrives. Thanks gedlicks gedlicks !

Don’t like the black lines on the bolsters otherwise I could of been a buyer, love the handle though
I have been puzzling over the stripes, are they grooves or superficial coloring, I'll know in a few days.
I'm just glad the bolsters did not get the typical Yellowhorse cobblestone treatment.

Those are gorgeous! Do they have a story? And pray tell, where would a person find something like that for his own collection?

Both came from friends of mine. Pop up once in awhile. I wanted to show Roger the stripes Mammoth tooth has. Quite something to hold knowing the age.

Thanks! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one. I have a tooth that I picked up years ago, from a collection that was being parted out. I am sometimes tempted to have it sectioned to see if it's as beautiful inside as some I've seen.
