I just won an action for a Buck 531 Sawby with 2 blades. The same seller also listed a 535 Sawby with 2 blades. Both auctions had pictures of 535's except 3 of the photo's in my 531 Sawby auction showed a 531 Sawby single blade with box, sheath and paper work. I gambled, I lost. In today's mail I received a 535 no box , no papers. Here's the link to that auction.

So I'm hoping the person who won the other auction was really looking for the 535 Sawby listed cuase I have it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buck-Knife-...592112?hash=item2cb49a9af0:g:aVkAAOSwn7JYD8pt

Are you looking to swap?

Long shot request i know. It's like Craigslist missed encounters. Maybe you are a memeber here. Respond to this if you are unhappy with the 531 and i'm going to ask the seller to put us in contact while I chase the refund.

Thanks.

I'm not understanding this thread... the 531 is a 1 bladed knife....
Was it a typo or did you receive a 535 with the wrong tang stamp?

The Original seller had (2) listings. a 535 two blade and a 531 two blade. Both Sawby's. Reading between the lines and deciphering both the photo's from both auctions I was hoping I purchased another 531 Sawby. I received the 535 Sawby. His explanation was Oops, sorry, send back for full refund. IO'm hoping by some miracle the person looking for the 535 Sawby is a member here and will read this. Maybe click on the links provided and view the original listings. It was certainly a gamble.

The knife pictured in both listings is a 535. A 531 has one blade as described by DeSotoSky. Sounds like the seller had his description wrong.

I looked over that listing and considered bidding. The impression I got from the listing was that it was for 2 knives. The 535 and the 531 both. Since he has "531" and "2 blade" both in the title and description, and shows multiple photos of both, that's the impression I got. I decided because the listing was obviously misleading, that it was intentionally deceptive. While he has a 100% positive rating, I figured the pair would go for bigger money.

I'd send it back and get your money back.

If I would have bid and won and received only one knife I would have been pretty upset. Of course I would have asked for clarification before bidding since it was confusing.
