Did anyone see the Don Lozier fighter on the last page of this month's Blade?

Oh My. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford that much cash for a knife, but that knife is about at the top of my list. I've seen a lot of knice customs, although never owned anything more custom than a Lile (after his death), but that knife really speaks to me visually. Julie Warenski certainly does some of the best engraving ever. The knives she and Buster make are all awesome, but I love the lines on this thing.

Don Lozier is an amazing knifemaker,I've been a fan a his for quite a few years. If you have a copy of Weyer's "POINTS OF INTEREST V" there are some great examples of Don's work.

In todays world of Carbon Fiber, G10 and Micarta, it is a pleasure to see the works of Don. I've owned about 20 of his knives and the choice of materials, fit and finish amaze me. Half the knives today don't even have bolsters, Don dovetails his! Grind lines are always true and the deep hollow grounds are awesome.

I am not good at posting pictures but one of my Loziers was in Blade magazine awhile back.

Oh, and Julie Warenski is great engraver and a heck of nice lady. I hope to have a Sawby she's doing for me returned soon.
