It appears that there is a Baller on the Bay. That knife sold for 2 G's with a refurbished birth card. And it appears it's the same buyer. That's just crazy...

Do you think it was worth it what it sold for? I guess it was to the buyer.

Kinda rich for my blood.

I have always said something is only worth what someone is willing to spend.....!!! I think some of these prices they are getting are by luck actually. We all know CRK selling seems to go into spurts. I think this one sold more because it was a numbered sebenza rather than it just being an older one. Again, the seller was willing to spend, over spend in some of these recent cases. To each their own I guess. That's why I have been able to own so many CRK because for quite some time I would say, I have have these 3 CRK, or just this 1 CRK. I always chose more over less. :-)

All I know is that I left that one alone, I didn't think it would go for that much since full disclosure was stated. Somebody is wanting those knives in a bad way. WOW!!!!!
I've noticed the trend in knives moving to the CRK's. The other big names are finally fetching fair prices

I thought about putting that large regular from 2000 that I recently got up on the bay for about 1 second. Then I came to my senses....;)

I was the Buyer and yes it was worth every penny. Just messing with Ya. That will buy you a great 1911, witch is what i would much rather spend the money on. Well, if your debt free and can afford to spend that much on a Non custom Folder, Great for you! I'm obviously in the wrong profession lol.

Lets face it some folks have a lot of money and it doesn't really matter. Others like me not so much and I have to be a bit more selective.

Yeah it's crazy to think that these folks are buying these up at those elevated prices.

Then again, if I had endless cash I would probably be doing the same thing...

Even if I had won the lottery, I still wouldn't blow it like that. Unless it was something truly, truly rare that you just never see, that's different. Not this though.

There was a prototype 25 that went for 2,600+ as well. I did not see the one you mentioned.
