I have been trying to find maker, year and price sold of the All Terrain Chopper. Info has been sketchy. I thought Camillus could be a possiblilty. Thanks

I would try calling CS and asking about the ATC. It was a heck of a blade to say the least, but proved too expensive (I was told) to keep producing large amounts. They were really nice choppers, well balanced and strong. I think they were offered about ten years ago and the price would have been around $250 if memory serves. Now CS has new products which offer a similar blade configuration in their San Mai 3 Kukri. That knife is the REAL deal and has some juiced-up cutting power. The newest CS DVD has some dude cutting 15 one inch hemp ropes with a single swing....I had to replay the DVD and get a closer look at that. It was really staggering as this would be a feat for even some of the better custom makers to duplicate with M4 or properly heat treated D2 The ATC would be, in my opinion, fairly close to the performance of the newer CS offerings.

Thank you for yor response.

Not familiar with that particular model, but Camillus did make the Cold Steel Carbon V knives.

That explains why Cold Steel stopped selling their Trapper, Muskrat, Bird Knife, & Stockman Carbon V knives. I have all but the Muskrat in the boxes. So I guessing that Camillus made these for Cold Steel???
Thanks for this info.

I currently have a Carbon V ATC in good, used condition.

I'm trying to find out info about the limited production AUS8 ATC's made in Japan. There is a perfect example on ebay right now. I'm not interested in buying it, just the history of it if anyone cares to share. Thanks!

Yes they did!

I like up the old topics :)
