I found a Camillus knife among my Dad's things today and was wondering if Camillus ever made knives for the Navy?
The knife looks alot like the current Duratool series but has 2 blades, a can opener, bottle opener and screw driver.
It is stamped on the large blade with "Camillus 1960" and on the side "U S".
Also the can opener has "can opener" stamped into it.

Any information on this would be greatful
Thanks
Matt

I can't say for sure about your knife, but yes Camillus did make the TL-29 Electricians knife for the Air Force and the Navy and I believe the army also.

I have a Camillus one that belonged to my late father, and while I can't know for sure if it was the one he was issued, he did work in a job in the Air Force in the 1950's that was issued this same knife.
