Did CRKT change the clip positioning on the M16's?

I just noticed in a catalog photo that the clip position on a M16 spearpoint was below the pivot. However on my M16 FD spearpoint, the clip is above the pivot. Are there any other M16 models with the clip above the pivot? Thanks in advance.
 
The one you saw in the catalogue was likely the Carbon Fibre version. I have the small cf spearpoint and the clip is below the pivot.

All the other models that I've seen are above the pivot.
 
That's odd, I've noticed the opposite - most have clips below the pivot (assuming blade point is oriented to point up). I've seen the M16-13FD where the clip is above the pivot, but on the M16-12LE the clip is below the pivot. The few other regular aluminum M16's I've seen had clips below the pivot. Hmmm...I don't see much consistency here....hmmmm...
 
My M16-04 has clip below the pivot. My new one has the LAWKS. My old one did not.
