Hi Everybody,

Watching TWD tonight,...... did Daryl Dixon send his knife in to get different scales ?
They look like tiger hide or Coyote and Black now ?

Or maybe it is all the dried Zombie blood ?

Someone with screen capture skills, check out the part where he is checking the oil before they go out talking to Michonne.

I am going with caked blood..... ;) I will also add that they ALL need to work on their personal hygiene…except maybe for Maggie…..she ALWWAYS looks pretty good…. ;)
 
As soon as I can, got a few stills I wanna grab. Later tonight or tomorrow I should have them.
 
The prop department weathered up the whole knife to make it look dirty and used. I'm sure that's why the handle color looks a little different.
 
yes but the metal part is super shiny
 
Looked black/tan to me (and probably one of the best handle shots I've seen on the show). Coyote TGLB would def be nice though...
 
last season there was a thread about daryls TG
some one from busse did say that the scales where changed at least once
i think it was andy that said it's good to know that even during the zombie apocalypse - busse still provided there great customer service

since you are doing one or two, can you do the one on Talking Dead Where Daryl is holding the TG and has his tongue out :)

It appears to be either simulated blood or rust. Your guess is as good as mine as to which one it is supposed to be.

Don't worry, SueZQ, no spoilers. That's actually from some outtakes during "Talking Dead" and wasn't in the actual episode ;-)

I do sometimes wonder if Norman knows what he has there, or if the prop master is the only one with the real appreciation...

I saw some of it between the WS and SNF.

Is it just an illusion or does Darly make that TG look small?

Almost like a mini. It looks a lot bigger in front of my face;):D
