Did/does Spyderco make a Native 3?

I ..think... I got a catalog showing a Native with a flat grind.
I don't see it on the Spydersite.

The only FFG Native's I know of are the Spyderco Forum Native (purple FRN) and the carbon fiber Native, if it's in a catalog (2009 I suspect) it's the carbon fiber variant.
But it is discontinued as of 2010.

There was a Native III, but it never was available with a ffg. The CF Native IV was ffg and I believe the FRN version of it will also be ffg when it reaches production. The only other ffg Native was the 2009 Forum version of the original Native.

Oh and about the Native 3/FFG, when looking at the 2009 catalog the Native 3 and the CF Native are next to each other. Under the CF Native picture there is the Native 3 info-box and "Native 3" in big bold letters.
OP just got them mixed up.

Yep, you're right. The layout of quite a few pages in the 2009 consumer catalog was like that. I can see where it could cause problems for folks who didn't notice the model number captions attached to each of the large pictures, and the small picture attached to each description.

I think I received the same catalog too. It wasn't a Spyderco catalog but one from a surplus store (not sure if I'm allowed to say their name but their website did not have the Native shown in the paper catalog). The catalog showed two "Native Lightweight" in plain or combo edge. The copy said the blades were CPM-S30V but the blade of the plain edge model says VG-10 while the combo edge says CPMS30V. Copy also said it was hollow grind but the picture of the plain edge does look flat ground. Perhaps it's an optical illusion from how the picture was taken?
