I didn't follow the ESEE crowd when they went and started their own forum, but at the time there was quite the stir about a folder (Izula folder if my memory serves me) that was to come out soon.....did that ever happen?
I've searched around here a little but nothing is coming up.....thanks.

IZULA Folder

Patterned after our extremely popular Izula fixed blade, the Izula Folder will have a folding D2 blade, frame lock construction and pocket clip. All made in the USA! This knife is not being manufactured at this time. At this time we do not have a price point or additional spec to disclose. Nor do we have a timleline on actual production. Photo below is a concept design made by Tom Novak. Specs, and colors may change slightly with actual production models.

Take from here.

Thanks evil...that's about the last I heard of it too.....just wondered if it ever happened.
Don't know how interested I would be in one anyhow now that I've been carrying a ZT 0550 for almost a year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a made in China version on evil bay before the real one becomes available.

I am actually torn for a new folder purchase, I have been waiting for the ESEE folder to hit production before making a final decision, but my choices are Tops Excest Delta (big chunk of steel), the Helle Dokka (just looks like such a sweet outdoor companion blade), and the ESEE folder (still waiting......). I know the correct plan of action is to just buy all three, but alas money just does not allow and I am still hoping to buy my first Busse. Damn, if I only liked collecting rocks instead of knives my life would be much more simple.

Looks pretty awesome to me. I wish more companies would do canvas micarta. The clip looks perfect, placement is spot on, and the overall shape is great looking. Kind of reminds me of a Kershaw Packrat, which is a really awesome knife, just a bit on the small side.
