I stopped at the pawnshop on the way to Walmart
They had another Buck 110 for sale, a little over $15, no sheath.

I'm not sure what year this one is.
The rocker pin is steel, and has two small scale pins.
The tang stamp is 3 lines:
BUCK
*110*
USA
(2 dot tang stamp?)

You can read the tang stamp right side up with the blade pointed down.
I don't know if that makes this an inverted stamp or not.

Anyways, it has a nice full blade. One of the scales has a chip in it, but I think maybe a Spa treatment will fix that.
I think I got a good deal. :)

Sounds good to me. Spa will make it like new. Post some pics. Need to see amount and size of rivets to date it.(and permission from her dad)

Sounds like a win to me. Congratulations!

According to the data sheet the 5th Version, variation 2 is the last "inverted" 110. The 2 dot is a 5th version, variation 4. Pictures would be helpful.

I should clarify. The 5/4 was the first variation of the 2 dot but not the only variation. To answer your question lower down, yes it would be 440c.

Please post photos. An inverted three-line with two dots would be unusual.

That’s what I was thinking.

I just picked up an excellent 2 dot with the stamp read tip up.

...apparently I didn’t take photos so I’ll have to update later.

Update/More information:
The rear spacer is steel, not brass.
The spring is round.
The two scale/cover pins are roughly 1/16 inch in diameter.
If it matters, there are two pins in the rear bolster.

I cannot post pictures. If anyone wants, I can email pictures, after I take some.
