Last Saturday I went to the smallest, most packed gunshow, ever. The building was agout 1,00 sqft. & I was using my four-wheeler. It has a carry basket & a seat that works well at most shows but I was a slow rolling roadblock. I bought a .22 semi with 2 magazines that could be quickly sold for profit.
Frustrated with the slow pace,I dawdled in an alcove & noticed an imposing .12 gauge. I asled the man if he'd take $140 & he heard one & a quarter. I love our Southern accents, eh?
This jewel was a J.C. Higgins [SeaRS ] MADE BY Savage. iT IS BOLT ACTION, tube fed using 2 3/4 shells.Barrel is 28" & overall 46" long. My gun book does not recognize it. Maybe it has value as an antique too?
