Making a knife from nsb's w2 (which I like a lot) I was refining grain preparing for ht, 1600, 1475, then 1425. Each with a few minutes soak to ensure the whole blade comes to temp. On the 1425 cycle, I forgot it in my kiln for ~30 minutes. The cycle ended and the temp was around 950 when I pulled it out.
So I reach out to bladefourms vast knowledge. Should I do it again and not forget this time? All good, proceed with ht and quench? Or possibly ruined?
