Did liners get thicker while I was passed out?

I don't have any production (or custom) Emersons with me at the moment but I heard that the newer models are even thicker (like CQC13 thick) on the locking side.

I have a '09 Mini CQC-8, '10 A100, and '11 CQC-10 with a thicker lock liner than my old CQC-7A and Specwar-A. My '11 Mini A-100 has a thin lock liner like my older CQC-7 and Specwar. Maybe because it's a smaller knife?

New Emerson's do use that thicker liner for almost all knives. The only ones that still use the thinner ones are the sub 3 inch blade versions. So the mini A-100, the mini 7 and the traveller. I don't know about the snubby. Think that would be thick.
