Did LionSTEEL rip off the Axis Lock?

I was browsing knives online and I found a knife, the LionSTEEL Daghetta, which has what looks like an Axis lock. In the product description they are calling it the TOL "Tactical Operation Lock". I looked closer at the product photos; the the springs seem to be bent differently (not Omega shaped), but other than that the lock appears the same. I have not held this knife, nor do I plan on ordering one, but I wonder if Benchmade would have a case for patent infringement?

I know other brands have made Axis-like designs, but this one just looks like a crude copy. Your thoughts?

I bought one yesterday at GPK just because I like different locks. The lock really feels like a lockback instead of an Axis Lock.

It's more like a Triad/Bolt lock hybrid than an Axis lock in the way it functions.
