Did many of you migrate from one size to the other?

Just wondering if any of you moved from a small Sebenza to a large (or the other way around) and if so, did you end up with a preference for one or the other or like and use both.

Yes, I did.
I went from large Sebenza to Umnumzaan, to small Sebenza to Mnandi.
Mnandi is my EDC. It's all the blade I generally need in an urban day.

Why yes I have. I started with the small 21 and moved to the 25.

It's all history from there. Now all I carry is large :)

I have switched between all the CRK folders, Large & Small Sebenza, Umnumzaan, Ti-Lock, Mnandi. I have carried them all at different times for different uses. Through all that, I still feel the Large Regular Sebenza is the finest Large folder you could ask for. The Large just fits my hand better than the small is all.
Right now, I am rotating a Large Regular, Large 21, Sebenza 25, Umnumzaan. All are getting used equally. Just cant beat em....!!!

Not me at least with CRKs. I have a large Insingo and a 25. Never had a small or a Mnandi. I had a few William Henry knives before I got my CRKs. When the time is right for a smaller knife I pocket a WH. BTW, I do really like the WH clip case. For me it's a good combination of leather pouch and pocket clip.

I have a small 21 inlay now and I have ordered a large Micarta Insingo. Although I love my small 21, I kind of find it "small" feature that :D anyway I am anxious to try the large. I have read the specs and seen the photos but I have never seen one in person (this internet life) but I kind of like that. After having a small for so long I think it will be pretty exciting to see the large.

I started with a small Insigno, went to a Large double lug 21, and am back to the Sm. Insigno. I find the larger knives easier to manipulate but the smalls all I need for everyday edc especially in the Insigno shape. I go to larger knives for field use and harder duty and hesitate always hesitated to take the Lg. Seb into the woods and risk loss when cheaper knives get the job done as well. I expect I'll use the small Insigno the rest of my life though.

I can carry a larger knife at work which is great. That said I won't be carrying this one out to do field work (I had a big enough scare a little while ago loosing my small for a week) I have plenty of great less expensive knives that can fill that roll.

I started with a small and then tried the big. Now I am back to the small as EDC. I found it easier to carry. The weight and size just disappears away in the pocket. Plus for urban usage, I found no difference between a 3 inch blade and a 3.5 inch or larger.

First two were a Large Starbenza and an Umnumzaan. Later picked up a Mnandi, which I immediately sold as it was too small for my hands. Just got a CF Small Insingo - not sure I'll keep it as again the size is likely going to be a problem.

I constantly switch. In the office, I carry a small 21. In the woods, I carry a large. Sometimes I carry both.

I carry/use everything I have...all large. 21, 25, Zaans, Insingo, and Regulars. The regular is my favorite by far. To me it's The knife from CRK.

A small is too small for my hand, I have big hands.

I tried the small but it just didn't speak to me so I sent it to a new home. Recently picked up a large Insingo and I don't know if another knife will spend much time clipped to my pocket. LOVE it! I did just get a small "Gold Leaf" but that will be more of a dress knife for me. The sickness just creeps into your bones!

Have both large and small. Prefer the large, but have carried a small as part of my EDC for many years. The small doesn't raise eyebrows in an office environment. I can't say the same for my large.

Seems like a lot of you carry both, that's encouraging. I had wondered if when I got the large if my days of carrying the small would be thru.

I have large small and mnandi.

I carry the small nearly the most and large maybe 25% of the time.

mnandi keeps falling out of the pouch so it collects dust at home. Planned to gift it for friend but couldnt part with it.

I carried a small Insingo for close to 2 years and believe it to be the best knife in that size that I've ever laid eyes or hands on for edc use, it was a perfect match to the office warehouse environment I worked in and was enough for my needs when used for any other chore. It is and will remain one of my all time favorite knives.
That said, i only carry the large now. I carried a tanto Umnum for a few years and have now obtained a rotation of CRK's that I carry; out of the rotation the Large Insingo ( predictable right? ) gets the most time followed by the old faithful tanto Umnum, Seb 25, StarTac, and large regular- which all get equal time more or less.

When I try carrying the small now it only takes a few hours before it ends up back in its box. With how flat, thin, and light a Seb is and with how perfect the pocket clip is I find that there's no reason not to carry the large unless your "environment" forces you not to.

I have never had a small. Is one of the advantages that it will lie crosswise in the bottom of your jeans pocket? ? Can a small seb / no clip guy fill me in? Thats my only issue carrying a large is that if its not clipped upright, its uncomfortable loose in pocket.
