Did My Part--Bought a Sebenza

I had been "on the fence" for a while about the purchase of another Sebenza, as a back-up for my primary large Sebbie.

The events of the past week convinced me to just "do it".

Last night I ordered another one-a large Sebbie.

The time was appropriate. The economy needs us to show support and confidence in it's ultimate strength and integrity.

In addition, it is a re-affirmation of my rights as a citizen.

This is not a facetious, frivolous post. I am deadly serious about this.

Best to all.

Very serious. I purchased a knife from Jay Sadow at Arizona Custom Knives today and he told me that business had stopped dead. We have to redefine what business as usual means and get back to it.

Thanks guys - you have reaffirmed my need to contribute some cash to the US economy. Not that i wasn't spending my paychecks as fast as I could before ;)

I'll be contacting Jay and Karen to see if they can pick up something from Blade show west. And preparing another "No dear, I've had that knife for years" speech for the wife

I did my part too. I picked up a new winter jacket for the wife (Boy are those Columbias expensive!!!!) and a SAK Cybertool for myself.

The Cybertool is very KEWL!!!!!

I told a maker yesterday that - "I have decided, this is what I want". It may take a while for my money to enter the economy, but the maker will have to but things from people that have to buy things...and so on...

Like you knifenerd..I am very serious. If 50% of America went out and spent their George W tax relief check tomorrow..on anything, it would be quite a message.

Right on knive people. I am doing my part. Just ordered a Benchmade 942 yesterday and now am looking for the best price on a Rekat Sifu black with carbon fiber scales. I'm mostly a gun freak, but hey, bullets run out sometimes.

Buzzbait - - I started by mentioning my knife purchase, but the same idea applies to any purchases, including even modest stock purchases. Knives are something we all have in common here, so it seemed a good starting point.

BTW, I've had a cybertool for a couple of months, and it is neat.

Well, me too :) Ordered Small Sebenza, got some more sharpening equipment, Busse hatchet, all that on saturday.
Now there's that BAKCA show comming at the end of this month, I feel like I have to help more.
