Went up to the Osceola NF, near the Georgia line. It was low fifties, windy and raining steady. The swamp I was hunting, Hurricane Bay, was deep, footing treacherous. Lots of mud holes to drive through to get to where I wanted to be.
Stayed out 5 hours, still hunting. Did not see anything shootable, just a couple of small does.
That said, I had a wonderful time, and enjoyed every single moment of the trip. I don't think I have ever had a bad hunting trip.
This is what the place looked like. Typical Southern flat land pine forest swamp.

Brad, we don't have tags down here in Florida, you can kill as many as you want. Yeah, there is Venison in the freezer already.
