Did Schrade ever make one like this?

During my 6 year hitch in the Navy from 1974-1980, I carried a knife very similar to this one.

I don't have it anymore, so I don't have a clue as to what brand it was. All I know for certain is that I got it shortly after I got out of boot camp and carried it pretty much every day until I got out of the Navy. I'm pretty sure that it was standard government issue because I think that I probably got it either from the "small store" on base or from my ship's store.

I don't have a clue as to what happened to it or why I quit carrying it, but just for sentimental reasons, I'd like to know if anyone else knows what I'm refering to and who might have made them for the Navy.

The one in this picture is a Camillus 697. It looks very close (if not identical) to how I remember mine.

Ted,

Here's a pic of one that I have. It's a schrade walden of course. They came with or without the lock, as Luis said, and they have both the black comp. handles as well as the brown jigged delrin.

As far as a Navy supplier, probably Camillus.

The ones to look for on these are the Schrade Cuts they were made in jigged bone and are really beautiful. Under Schrade Walden they made bone and comp but the vast majority are the comp later delrin. This exact knife was also made on contract and marked Case. Chances are they were made by Schrade for several other companies as well. Schrade Walden #735. Bone Schrade Cut 7353. Nickle silves version SS7359GSIL.
