So, i wanted to get into acid/stone washing and mess with it on a few blades so i finally got around to it. Problem is, i don't have a tumbler (hindsight is 20/20) so i went to radioshack and bought the PCB Etchant i saw people use and did it to my CRKT minimalist and a Alaskan pocket ulu i had laying around and i ended up with some smudgy dark knives, which is awesome and i love the look but then again, it would look better if i stonewashed it. So now i'm stuck with some half-assed acid washed knives, which i like but i now have to wait to do the washing part and get a tumbler or find someone that can do it for me, so i figured i'd show y'all what i did, because i am quite happy with the turnout :p
Before and After

Sorry i didn't bother taking a before picture of the ulu

A peanut butter jar or gatorade bottle with whatever small rocks or stones you can find works great. I just added about 15 or or 20 from our front yard and a little water. about 30 minutes of shacking by hand.

Threw it in a bottle with some pea gravel and shook it for a while, turned out beautiful
