  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

It was my second time, getting a little faster at it but still working on my sanding technique, so go easy on me. Used Klean Strip, then started with 80 grit to remove remaining coating, then 150, then left it at that for the flats and moved up to 220, then 400 for the final. Didn't want to go all the way up to mirror, because I'm just going to go beat it up anyways.

I like it! looks sweet how u left the darker grey on the flats. Never thought about doing that, I sanded all of my 2 to the same shine...I love that look on the 16, but it was naturally like that under the coating.

That looks really good. I also like the two tone look. I have a BK11 being delivered today that is going to get stripped this coming weekend and hopefully etched ala Clich.

Looks nice, no reason I can see to polish it any more, now it just need "beauty marks" from use

Thanks for the kind words guys! Many of you are the reason I have the gumption to try stuff like this!
