Due to illness I really haven't been able to use my knives very much recently, which has been a bummer as that's the primary pleasure I get from my blades. Well, wasn't feeling any better today, but we coincidentally received a lot of packages all in large boxes, the kind that simply take up too much space in the recycling unless they're reduced to their component parts.

So, I had my stepdaughter haul all the boxes over to me in a big pile and promptly charged through 80-100 linear feet of cardboard. Totally comfortable throughout the job, the edge simply didn't notice and I got some satisfaction for the evening.

Just wanted to point out again that the Marksman is a great design and, particularly with the S35VN blade, is no mere novelty, but a rock-solid working knife.

I always liked the marksman. My sole gripe is I want one with a 4in blade. Still I'd like to grab a marksman to try.

Glad you got to use your knife, I always enjoy using my blades. Hope you are alright.

I'd love to see a 4" Marksman, I like larger folders and it's such a solid design.

As for alright, well, probably as well as can be expected all things considered.

I wish there was a store close by where I could hold a marksman. I've only seen pics and videos, the sls caught my eye awhile ago. I wonder if they'll use it on other models.

I know it's rough, someone I knew well went through it. I'll settle for hearing that your making tiny steps in the right direction.
