Ok, here's the Fisk fighter I picked up in Little Rock. Sorry, you'll just have to make do with my usual crappy pics(hey, do I look like Coop?) :)

Blade is a smidge over 8" of forged 5160, with stainless double fighter style guard. A really choice piece of gnarly, popcorn-ish stag with a single pin and a stainless buttcap. Overall length is a little over 13". Very rare for one of Jerry's knives, is the red and silver spacers between the guard and handle material. Jerry said he hasn't done many like this.

Even YOU can't make this knife look bad. "Sharp and pointy, sharp and pointy...."

Damn that's a nice one. Worth the entire ride, I would surmise! I love the spacers. Very traditional.

Congrats Danbo, that is one sweet-looking knife. Love the extra-pointy blade profile here. You'll be grinning for a while with this one.

Danbo showed me this one in Little Rock.

He was grinnin so wide his ears got acquainted........

I got to "play" with this one in Little Rock. It is absolutely stunning! Which is typical of Jerry's work.......would not have expected it to be any other way.

Well, I must say, when we spoke about this one the other day, I knew it would be nice, and, yup, it sure is. :)

I don't know if you tried to post the pics of it that I edited from your originals that you liked, but, they're too memory intensive to be posted here, I tried, they're around 200K, so, I thought you might want them anyway, so, I hosted them on my WS and viola, here they are, they're right, your pics really are getting much better, you just need to learn PS and you're all set. All I did was reduce the color cast(one click), tweaked the contrast a little, and gave it the wood-like frame, I think the stag shows its color and quality better now, and the blade has a truer gray color. I have Coop to thank for making me hyper critical to the gray of the blades being slightly tinted yellow or sometimes blue, and shaming me into using PS, as I hope to do to you. :)

Anyway, here they are, I'll contact you later about the small fee... :)

You done good Danbo, I think you better keep this one.

Always nice to see one of Jerry's. This one is special because I haven't seen a Fisk knife with no gold, no inlays, no escutcheons etc. for quite some time. Jason.
