Did the delica and endura come with a lesser point at one time?

Cause at one point I could have sworn they did. I have a pacific and atlantic salt and I could have sworn they had changed the delica and endura to that blunted blade profile.

I must have imagined it though. I just purchased a few knives that had gone missing in my collection and one of them was a delica 4. I really like the new handle and clip, my old one didn't have those options, not that it matters, I prefer tip up carry anyway.

Anyway, I thought sypderco had redesigned them to take away that pointy fragile point. I'm glad they didn't. I have searched and don't see any blunt delicas anywhere.

Oh, I found my old delica!! :D I'm glad cause I like having 2 of important things and knife models I use a lot. Now if I could only find my missing native . .

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that you purchased an endura/delica 4 and it has a tip profile different than the salt line? If so I'd say it's been modified.

Here's a pic of my delica ClipIt with the fixed clip and a Delica 4 in ZDP189. The black FRN is the Delica

Yeah my full flat grind Super Blue Delicas both have that slight down turn at the tip as well...

Maybe you saw a Kahr Arms Delica also...? Which has a much steeper spine grind to limit blade length.
Maybe I'm not totally clear on what you were asking though?

The Delica and Endura 4 have a more blunted tip than the earlier models but not as blunted as the salt 1 and pacific salt.

Yea my FFG Delica that I bought about a month ago has the tip like in the pic above. It is a slight downwards slant about 1/8" from the end.
