Yeah I missed the SE and LE too. Perfect companion for my SAR4.

Nice thing about Busse is that we can probably find one in the "aftermarket" for a little premium. Some folks around here likely picked up several and sometimes they will offer one up for sale. Looks like a great knife, something I would take with me for serious deep woods camping or even survival stuff. I like the SAR4 for day hikes with my dogs in the foothills etc.

Gorgeous knives and I've definitely got the bug for this particular steel. I've given a couple of lesser knives away to make room in my safe. The search for a SAR8 is on!

Hopefully the SAR8 in Black/Tan and Black G-10 is on the way. I definitely wouldn't mind getting a Blk/Orange SAR8 to match my SAR4 though. Gotta keep an eye on the exchange for that Blk/Orange......I really want to make a matched pair. I could care less about a CG SAR8....the satin is just toooooooo sexy!!! No offense to any of the CG lovers in here, I'm just not a huge fan of coated Busse blades. Don't get me wrong, I own a few CG's and their durability is outstanding. I just love Busse's satin finish!!

You do have a VERY valid point there, Mustard. I wonder if Jerry and crew would be open to putting out some blades in "rough, but no dimples"? Price them just a bit above CG, and let the end user put on his own satin finish! Now that would be sweet!!

Oh believe me I've been offered by quite a few upstanding Hogs but I'm waiting on a more affordable DC or CG finished version. I know they can "Bring It" if they want to so we'll see.

Yeah true but that was before the Company Store. It did always make me chuckle that there was such a stampede when you knew you had to wait that dreaded "two weeks" to get it. LOL!!!!!!!!!
