Did they ever make a sog set?

I've seen the sog set for sale in the for sale forums. The seller says they came in the display case with the rare handles with no sheath or paperwork, it looks to be a great deal but wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Is that ligit? how many were produced?

I just found the offer. They look like originals. Those are limited editions of the NW Ranger, Pentagon, Agent, and Desert Dagger. I think we made less than 500 of each of those. Even though the sheaths are missing it still seems like a good deal for a collector.

but did they ever actually come out as a set from Sog like that? Seller says that is how they came... what year did this come out? 93?

Not sure about coming from SOG that way. That was way before my time with SOG, but it is possible.

Don't think it was sold as a set - just think how many people would spulge on a set like that? My guess he put the 4 knives into a display set and sold it off. Great snag by the way you got it at a great price!

yea, he said he found it it was put togeather by a collector, no sheaths or paperwork though...
