Yes that is the mini 7a drop point not tanto. Emerson just re released the full size 7a but it no longer has the swedge. Mini 7a's are also much less common than full sized ones.

I think he was asking if there was ever a non waven mini 7-B (tanto)

Yes, there is but good luck finding one, iv not seen them for ages.

Heres a pic of one

I've seen them fairly commonly. Just a mini CQC-7B SFS I think they are even on his web page now, or where before he changed the page around. If you want one I'll find one for you?

sure non waved mini '7s used to be fairly common i had one and swapped it off for something or another, but i have not seen one for a while now, when EKI waved the '7 they also waved the mini '7 IIRC, woulda been in '01 or so IIRC, i didnt think they still made non waved '7s and went and looked on the EKI site and i didnt see any FWIW.

i have seen 'em for sale/swap occasionally though ..............

I had one a few years ago but swaped if for a waved mini-7 :foot:
Kind of wish i still had the non waved one now, I have become much more fond of non waved EKIs lately.

Yeah, I need one that won't screw up my suit pants.:D

I saw a non-wave CQC7A at a knife shop once and I picked it up immediately (I can take or leave the "wave" feature). The knife was one of my favorites as I usually carry my knife clipped to my uniform shirt above my vest for easy access. Then, I don't know what I was thinking, I sold the damn thing when I needed a few bucks. I can't find any w/out the wave and I have sellers remorse.

I had the clip-point one once that I put a custom satin finish on, then sent to Eddie Baca. He put nice thick G10 scales on it and redrilled it for tip-up carry. Stupidly sold it. When are we going to learn?
