I know there was a picture and a chart floating around that showed all of the Game Warden varieties that were sold, but it is escaping my search-fu at this time...

Did Busse ever offer a black coated with either black paper or black G10 Game Warden?

Check out Ken Lunde's Busse knives wallpaper pages, he has photos of most (might be all) varieties of Game Warden's. He takes some of the best photos. Definitely worth a look at all of his stuff if you like Guns-n-Knives....

Here are the pages that are particular to Game Wardens. The Game Wardens starts on page-10 and go to page-14.

Enjoy, Les.

(and yeah, there is a black/black on page-13)

I don't believe that it's a black G-10 & black coated GW... I seem to recall that the G-10 was a green and black multi layer...not like what we are more familiar with, but the green was really dark or subdued and closer to the blue end of the green color spectrum. Check the pic with the handle in the foreground.

It is the closest, IIRC.

Hmmmm... I wonder if I sent the shop two GWs they would do a handle swap for me.

After looking at the second pic of that one, I think you are right. The multi-color does show. thanks for clarifying.....
