Howdy!
I have been lurking about/ posting on this forum for awhile now, dreaming of one day owning my own Andy creation.
Here it is:

How cool is this wood? I could not be happier, as the soon-to-be wearer of this outstanding blade.

Andy definitely did right by me.

Let me help you with those pictures.

and yes, that knife is awesome. I love that wood.

Thanks! I went back and forth on the wood for a long, long time.
I have never seen one of his knives in person; however, they looks pretty comfortable in the pictures. Can't wait to find out in person.

I believe you will like it! Aside from his blades being of the highest fit & finish, Andy has a good understanding of handle contours and about what makes a handle comfortable during real-world use.

G-D that's sweet! There's a lot of crappy-figured bocote out there and something I generally shy away from, but I got one (a Runt) on order with Andy, because I know I can trust him on the wood and although his blades are outstanding, I think they play second fiddle (har, har, har) to his handles, and good handles aren't appreciated enough. Now all you need to do is get Talfuchre to hook you up with a sheath!

Awesome. I'm glad you're happy. I can't wait to get it out to you. Hurry up and paypal. I'll be in Vegas next week!!!

It arrived!

Awesome knife. I really expected something special, after all the pictures I have seen, and the reports that I have read on this forum.
I was not disappointed.

The knife rocks. Ergonomically, one of the best handles I have ever, well, handled. The knife does have to be handled to be appreciated. It is way more involved and complicated, design-wise, than it looks in a picture.

As for appearance, I could not be happier if I hand-picked the wood myself.

Good job, Andy.
