Did you ever carry or saw anyone carrying a folding knife in the left side tip down orientation?

I wonder if there is anyone in the entire world who carries left side tip down.

My preferred orientation is right side tip up but I don't hate tip down. Matter of fact I don't give a shit. If the knife is tip down only that doesn't constitute a deal breaker for myself but I never saw anyone carrying left side tip down, like a PM2 for example.

It's known to the community that 10% of people are left handed and I have found a few people who prefer tip down at least for some knives but someone who is rocking a left side tip down, I never found.

And No. I am not Lasador. I have no idea who this guy is.

Being left handed, I’ve carried a Military and PM2 in my left front pocket tip down. Most of the time, I carry a CRK in the left pocket and another knife in the right. But every now and then, I’ll switch them up.

No I have not. However on the subject of clips, I'm thinking about trying out changing my clips to the presentation side tip up (or down, not too picky on that) because a lot of clips like to create hot spots right on my palm. For example when I hold my PM3 in my left hand it's comfy as the dickens, but in my right it has a big hot spot.

Yes - me. And I’m right-handed. Some of my jeans have a knife pocket on the left, and I like the Spyderco Military. And as far as I’m concerned, frame and liner locks are ambidextrous.

I did a long time ago when I was a teenager and knew nothing! I remember the time when someone questioned me about it. Since then, it's always been tip up.

It's secured in my hand as I grab it from the pocket it is clipped to. There is no other way for me to carry.

I’m right handed so I wouldn’t carry my knife on the left side. As far as tip up/down, the only time I have ever carried tip down is if the knife has extremely shallow carry in the tip-up position - like the Kershaw Leek for example.
Because I don’t like half the knife to stick outta my pocket.

Another port-sider here. I always carry my Spyderco Military tip down...

That's an odd thing to say for your 4th post.

How do you do, fellow knife enthusiasts?

Got a Tuff Lite in my left pocket that can only be carried tip down, a Endura in K390 tip up in my right, and a Viper swayback in a leather pouch in the bottom of my right pocket.

I think for me personally, the most important factor in deciding how I carry a folder is the detent.

For example, I have a Civivi that has such a weak detent that I can easily make it deploy just by shaking it lightly. This knife in my opinion can only be carried safely in tip up with the top of the blade snug against the back of my pocket.

I do, whenever possible. The only problem is that it is not possible often enough.
