I live in Canada so I expected it to take a little longer but waiting isn't a good friend of mine so I was wondering if I could live vicariously through my forum friends.
Lets see some photos of your LMIW rig and give some initial impressions.
What can I expect?
Thanks in advance.

Was getting online to post
WOW
I cant believe the quality for that price!
(even at double the price)
These things are AWESOME
and will hold my Busse's proudly
Thanks Beth and Charlie
You have a happy customer here

Thanks for putting this together for us.

beth said mine's due to ship monday, so I reckon sometime next week.

The inside kydex liner
I can see this is very easy to customize if you need to
Also,note the knife retaining strap
it is attached by you via the provided chicago screws
(remove the liner, insert the retaining strap inside the sheath
push the chicago screws from the inside to out
then using the end with the screwdriver slot from the outside)

The kydex liner is held in place with a pin and ring setup
(very ingenious)

Both the pockets have an elastic webbing which was a surprise.
works well!

I havent thought about the pouch contents yet,but
their seems to be ample room for a mini FAK
and a good Fire Starter kit in the other.
That would make this an excellent "survival" type rig.

Plenty of molle type webbing straps on the back I would
imagine could be strapped to many of those packs
if you wished.

(sorry for the poor pics.knife is basic11,sheath is J-Holmes))

Those pics are FAR from poor!!!
Very nice job.
Thank you very much for posting. It looks to be the "ultimate" big knife survival sheath!!
And yours is the same color that I ordered!! :D

Which size liner are you using for the B11? I thought that the 3/16" would work, but it is a very tight fit.

I just posted these pics at Scrap Yard, and thought I would post them here as well. Charlie and Beth do GREAT work!!! :D:thumbup::thumbup:

Sheath with a B-11 in it.

Top pocket has an Altoids tin, bottom one has a Gerber multi-tool and magnesium firestarter, with more room left.

My LMIW sheath and B-11's, flanked by a couple of leather sheaths I made.

One more look at my LMIW and leather B-11 sheaths.

Im using the fatter one
I dont know what knife would fit in the smaller one.

I tried to fit my FFFBM in there, (the big sleeve)
no way was that going in.
Might fit in if I heat it up a little with the hot air gun.
Looks easy enough to bend a fresh piece of kydex
The sleeves LMIW used seemed pretty thick,
I am gonna use the real thin kydex for the sleeves I need to make.

Nice. I love the look of these. I should have grabbed one!

Now, the real question is when are they releasing one to fit the KZII?

Great pics folks! The footlong fits the B11 perfectly with a good inch of lateral clearance between the blade tip and retaining nut. I ordered a JH too just in case it didn't work out. Man, this is one overbuilt sheath.

The Bushwacker Mistress fits in the skinny sleeve. For some reason, I assumed that the B11 would go in the skinny sleeve of the JH. Instead, it goes nicely in the shorter, fatter sleeve.

I guess this means I need to buy a long skinny knife.
