Did you know the Name of this BUSSE Knife?

That's one of his "Crab Shack Customs"...sometimes called an "ELMAX slicer".

They come-up from time to time during the Sunday Funday sales.

I'm no Busse expert (*not even CLOSE to some of the hardcore guys over in the Busse area), but all the Crab Shack blades that I've seen have been ELMAX.

If you want one, you have to be on the lookout for one of his "Sunday Funday" sales, which usually take place at 9:00 PM Eastern. (*on Sundays, obviously) You have to be pretty diligent and pretty quick. They usually sell-out in seconds or (*if you're lucky) minutes.

The thing I love about 'em is that it seems that no two are the same. There are about four or five different blade styles, but the scales seem to be one-off combinations on all of 'em. I've personally seen two that I REALLY wanted, but I'm the sole caregiver for my Mom, who is in the final throws of Alzheimer's. Her sleep schedule, and therefore mine, is ALL OVER the place. So, for those two particular sales, we were asleep. 🙁
 
You might also check the for fixed blade for sale by individual Busse subforum. I do not believe Elmax slicers are too hard to find there.

I believe you can set up an email to be sent out at a specific time. That way, you can still participate if you happen to be afk or sleeping. Thoughts, prayers, and best of luck!
 
It’s looks like an Elmax Slicer. It will have Elmax engraved on the opposite side of the blade

I'd heard about the "scheduled e-mail" thing but kinda' gave-up on it when I heard other folks tell stories of their e-mails posting between five seconds before to 30 seconds after the time set. In the end though, I reckon half-a-chance is better than no chance at all.

The sales for specific knives are usually very quick, but they've done Slicer grab bags before. That's how I got mine.
