Really? I like it and it is flying off the commissary shelves. I get the lower fat and low sodium product. BG-42 goes through it like butter.

Iv`e never tried the low sodium low fat, The sodium content was always my problem, just too salty for me.

Spam is not real food.

It tastes good if you grill it and put it in baked beans. Bonus if you're out camping. But yeah make sure it's the low sodium version. Way less salt, but still tastes pretty salty. Goes well with pineapple too.

Grate it with a cheese grater and mix it with your chop-meat to add a little zing to your hamburgers...

Try it and you'll never go back to plain hamburgers again.

Signature food of Micronesia. On Guam, people buy Spam by the case load in Costco, and every bookstore on the island carries Spam recipe books! From what I've read, Hawaii is the number one consumer state for Spam. I guess during WW II many of the island countries were cut off from food deliveries and relied on Uncle Sam's boats to ship in supplies. The supplies that they received was Spam!

The stuff tastes pretty good if you doctor it up, grill or fry it like burgers, and add lots of spices. (In other words, change the flavor... :o( )
