Picked up a Red Bone Case Wharnie Trapper last year and promised myself when a long awaited custom came in, I'd give it away. My custom came and now I would like to give it away here. I have been off and on the forums for years and still love coming back now and then to see the great knives. A while back I settled on Bose knives as my favorite carry knives. Had a bunch but now I only have a few (to carry and use), but still enjoy seeing all the pics of Reese and Tony's work on the forums.
So...if you sold this Red Bone Case to me...can you give some details on the additional work you did on it (I think you darkened the bone and did something to the blades)? I've used it for the past year and it probably could use a good sharpen. If you were the one that sold it to me, feel free to post additional pics and details if you have them.
Its a great little knife. Stainless with pretty medium pull on both blades. A little off center on both (like many Case knives). But its a great user, no worry, carry knife. Additional Details...I believe this is the Mini Trapper...3.5inch closed, Half stops. 6207W SS.
I would really like to keep the giveaway simple...U.S. addresses only. Will keep it open until Sunday night at 9pm and then draw randomly. Post here if you are interested. I've never done a giveaway...so if I am doing something wrong or need any other info please chime in. Thanks...JT

Couple of additional notes about this GAW:
VCM3 has agreed to ship the knife to non-U.S. addresses (so if you are out of the Country, you are still in the GAW)
If you win and later want to move the knife, it would be great if you re-GAWed it.
Finally...no one has stepped forward regarding the mods that were done to it...any ideas who the original owner could be. I know I bought it here. Bakerg2g maybe, just can't remember and can't find any history of the transaction.
More Updates -- Yes, Bakerg2g did sell me the knife last year (so, that mystery is solved). Here is what he said about the mods he made -- "I etched the blades and re-jigged the
bone and dyed it back as best I could."
BTW...I think bakerg2g did a great job on the bone and if you think the front bone looks good, IMO, the back looks even better. I will try to get a pic and send it to VCM3 to post tonight.
