Did you send Benchmade your chipped RSK?

So I keep hearing about a problem with the S30V blades on the Ritter RSK and other knives.
My question is has anyone actually sent it back to Doug Ritter (through Aeromedix) or Benchmade?
I have both a large and small version; the mini gets a lot of everyday use. I have not had chipping issues.
Other than what is on Bladeforums and Cliff Stamp's tests is there actually a case of Benchmade getting back a defective blade and confirming this chipping issue?
Cliff did you send your's back? What did they say?
If anyone has a chipped RSK in S30V I would suggest sending it back.
If there is an issue then Benchmade should and probably would fix it.

Well, how would we read about chipping issues if not on a forum?

I own a large, but no issues.

Have a Skirmish, but the chipping can only be felt with a fingernail (nothing big enough to really bother me - and no, it is not a burr thing).

Aeromedix and Benchmade do provide excellent customer service, so I would hope owners would avail themselves.

I had one that chipped 3 different times. I e-mailed Benchmade and they were very helpful and suggested I send it in to test.

Before I could, it got lost/stolen.

I've been considering buying another one but chipping scares me a little.

I had a Skimish that chipped out, the edge was shredded just passing it on the sharpmaker. I sent it to Benchmade, and they said there was nothing wrong with it! However, they then replaced the blade with an apology:confused:
But either way, Benchmade did the right thing in the end, but strange that they did not admit the problem in he first place.

I have three RSK's in S30V - a mini, fullsize, and fixed. None of them has shown any sign of chipping. The fixed blade hasn't seen a lot of use yet, but the other two have been used regularly for several years - the mini is my EDC and is used almost daily for all sorts of cutting.

I did not send mine back, I had read alot about it here on the boards and just toke my stones to it (My sharpening stones that is, other wise any blade would chip out.) after a few sharpenings the chip problem went away.
