Did your foliage Manix sprint come with a letter?

I got a Green Manix 2 sprint from KCI and it didn't come with a letter in the box. I heard mention that there is a letter that comes with it explaining the steel and saying it's a sprint run etc. Just curious why I didn't get one and if you did.

Thanks! I just looked over at Spyderco forums and found a thread on it. Seems it is totally random. It would be nice to know what makes the difference.

I thought it was a limited run, not a sprint. My s90v and blue Manix both had letters.

I received no letter in my knife box. I thought Kristi said this knife would be a 1000 piece sprint run?

Could be the person boxing them did not have them available?

This is a direct quote from one of the letters I saw. "The C101FG Manix2 with CTS-XHP Carpenter steel blade inside this box is a limited number Spyderco Sprint Run"

You got me wondering now. The Spyderco web site doesn't say the green is a Sprint, but it does specifically say the Blue Manix2 is a Sprint.

I didn't get a letter. I just may have to type one up myself.

I got two of these, one did, one didn't. The one from KCI did not. The one from Tom Berry did. Quien sabes?

No letter w/ mine. I also have no idea what the difference between a sprint and a limited run is either.

2 did one did not. Knifeworks is the one that didn't. Common denominator?
