I just recieved my 3rd zt 560, and the first 2 had strong detents and i loved it good hard flipper action , but you couldn't do a traditional opening with the knife with the thumbstuds you could flick it open, just not a slow deliberate opening. Well this on I just got today the detent is a little weaker, (not complaining), it can still be flipped with authority but you can also do a controlled no flick opening using the thumbstuds. I've read 1,000 posts of people saying of the detent was too strong or too weak, and i'm not one of those persons and this is not one of those threads, I'm just wondering if zt did something to the detent to make it like this or did i just get lucky and get the perfect knife?? Serial number on this knife i just got is 2076 so i dunno how new it is however the detent is i'm happy with a knife and i don't want to start another friggin stronger vs weaker detent thread, just a simple answer to a question.Gonna add this just checked and my 560 opens just as smooth with the thumbstuds using a controlled opening as my 550 does :) makes the flipper a little harder to do, but this aint my first rodeo and she's flipping like a ninja lol

No, we didn't change the detent. There will be variances from knife to knife.

not complaining, I love the knife just wondering, thanks for the quick response Thomas.
