So Im not much of a saw guy. I am to much of a cave man and prefer to swing heavy objects vs jerking on wood..... :D
That being said a friend of mine convinced me to look into maybe getting a small carry around saw and trying it out.
I was looking at this one.

Anyone have one to give me a opinion on? I Love the look of it plus it simple. No moving parts to worry about. Only cleaning to do is a coat of water proof on the sheath and oil on the blade.
P.s. If there is somewhere else to post this let me know :)

I personally don't have any experience with that saw but the blade doesn't look replaceable.

I do however have a 24' Bob Dustrudes quick buck saw and a Silky BigBoy and I high recommend both. The Bob D saw is a beast and is very light but its just a little long.

The silky saws come in all shapes and sizes and also have replaceable blades as well as different teeth sizes for cutting green or dry wood etc.

If your set on small aborist like folding saw I'd high recommend Silky theres just so many options plus if the blade would ever break you can buy back ups.

Good luck with your decision.

PS - The lock up on the silky folding saws is very tight they're solid. I also forgot to mention the Bahco Laplander which is a bit cheaper and also has replaceable blades I believe.

Very sound advice from Zymologist. That saw has teeth shaped like a Silky or Tajima saw. Those saws go like a raped ape. But they're lazer hardened and really can't be sharpened by the user. Hence, it's best if they are replaceable. I wish Silky still made a 12". The 10" is nice but a little short. The 14" is super but it's a little clumsy in the left thigh pocket of my Carharts. A 12" would be perfect. They used to offer one........
