Was looking on ebay this evening, and saw a Buck stockman for an absurdly low price, but with only 45 seconds left in the auction. I quickly bid, and got the knife for $10.01, including shipping. Then I went back and read the listing closer. It was a new Buck stockman, made in . . . China. I didn't even realize Buck was having knives made in China these days, but I shoulda known. Everyone else is.
Now, for $10.00 I'm not really upset about it -- it'll be one of those knives I stick in the glove box of my car or truck for "just in case" reasons -- but I am curious. How's the quality of these new Bucks. I've got a couple of older ones, 15+ years or more, and they're decent little pocket knives, nuthin' special but not half bad either. How do the new ones compare?
