Die Punch Machine, How to use my dad old machine for manufacturing hardware pieces.

Heya,

Good day, this is my first post here and I am desperately looking for needed help. I've joined my family hardware business since a while now. I am looking to use my dad's machine. Here we go with picture

It was not working but I've tried and made it work, when we move the wheel it goes down and up like that. Two questions please, how can we make a die for small hardware products? How much should it cost? and What type of parts can I make with this? Would it be a good idea to make this automatic? Can I do that?

I don't have much knowledge but am enthusiastic to make things work. Thank you.

That's a fly press. There are motorized screw presses but I don't believe it would be feasible to convert that machine to one. Contact a tool and die shop for press dies.
