With the GW's being seeming to be "the cats meow" for quite some time now, wouldn't you like to see some of those in satin or DC without the fat? I'm ready! Who else is?

I understand we're at the end of the GW run...maybe Ducci or Ban can help a hog out.

I'm certainly ok with what I have but I really would like to see some of those later cool color combo's in a thinner slicer. Just for grins

It would make a knife that size more useful for lots of things, wouldn't it?

I'm for thinner slices in the GW, AD and MS. These smaller knives needn't be so thick, IMHO.

Skunk said the last ones would be .220 satins to wind the GW's down.

Glad I kept most of my of my satin .140's:D

I did order one of the red/black satin fatty's. Won't be the thin slicer the .140's are but I think the thick satin INFI will look pretty cool:cool:

I for one will be sad to see them go. They are just a really good EDC. I had at least of one of everything in my basket that came available the other night but didn't pull the trigger on the fatties. I don't really think I could have resisted a slimmer GW with that finish and those colors. I am soooo weak at times but I resisted this week.

I think there may be one or two more GWs, if Skunk's predictions are right.

I vote for an OFF WARDEN that is thicker than any Busse we've seen. :D

Totally impractical, but just so cool to view.

I also think there should be only ten of them so that they're each worth over $1000 by the end of next year. :p

As far as GWs, satin and skinny is where it's at for me too.

My EDC GW is still the GW LE at .140".

I had a .140" red G-10 in satin, but a HOG needed it more than me.

Still have a .140" Black Tie Warden or two.

I'm with you all the way. I don't understand a fat warden. These aren't pry bars, and hey should be thin. I'd lie the last one to be ab anorexic warden.

Just like the ladies, I luv em all but gimme a slim keeper!!!!!!!!
That there's funny, I don't care who ya are...............

Yes.... This always seems to fall on deaf ears.

These are not pitons, they are cutting tools. 99.9% of the EDC population would be best-served by a Warden in the 0.10-0.12 range, if flat ground. Maybe 0.14 with a hollow grind.

The good news is, you can take whatever Warden you like most and have it re-ground to whatever thickness you prefer - hollow or flat.

I definitely understand the utility of a 0.20 blade in this size, but that is just simply not an all-around EDC cutting tool. Great for splitting kindling, a mini breaching tool or perhaps the compulsive fondler, but not really a working knife.

The basic idea behind designing a utility knife is to make it as thin as practical without sacrificing too much strength, not as thick as can be rationalized by fondlers.

I've BEEN with you for a while! I keep asking for the Anorexic Warden. I've got a few in 0.14". The consensus view here seems to assume that Jerry is loathe to make one even thinner, because some folks would do truly stupid stuff with it, and then drive up warranty claims and leave bad PR.

So, Jerry, I formally and publicly renounce any future warranty claim, if you will make me a skinny Warden.

Second that. Gimme a satin/yellow-black G-10 and I just might give up my SAR. Or not

Thinner is definately heading towards the right direction for the GWs  I would buy at least a couple more if they are thin.
