dif color JYD2?

IIRC, the knife you linked to is the original JYD II. The handles were always grey. The black and the Ti handles came later.

The grey in the pic on the site is a bit darker than most I have seen though.

On the other hand, the production version of the Mini Mojito doesn't look like this.

And the Akulon on the Speed Bump isn't this dark.
 
i brought it up cause i look at my JYD2, and though i see some grey, i see more green. i remember seeing it on the site with the greener handles. interesting. either Kershaw needs better lighting, or i am color blind
 
I think this was brought up in the past. IIRC, GG said that the photos for the site were of the protos in some instances. Lighting can always mess with color, too.
 
Well actually...I forgot to mention this...sheesh. We did change the G-10 on the JYD II. There were color consistency problems with the grey G-10, so we went with a two layer (black front/grey back) G-10. When we machine Tim's "bolt" patten into the G-10, the grey pops from within. Looks better IMO.
