difference between a Premium dealer and a Premium plus dealer?

Benchmade doesn't explain the difference on their website, all they say is there are three "levels" of dealers; "Authorized, Authorized Premium and Authorized Premium+ Dealers." It would be my guess the difference is in how many "units" are sold by the dealer during a specific period of time (Premium+ selling the most). I wouldn't worry about it as long as they are an authorized dealer. You can do a dealer search on Benchmade's website to determine if they are Authorized, Authorized Premium or Authorized Premium+.
 
They will all equally take your money I'm sure. If you really need to know, call Benchmade and ask. They are very friendly on the phone and always willing to help. Let us know when you find out.
 
Give you an example; there's a Premium+ dealer (Roger's KW) that outsells and has an inventory that beats the pants off anyone else in sheer volume. Most of us (well a few of us, maybe) have limited and gold class knives from them. Their clout gives them access to some amazing stuff. If, Kalifornia, you have a choice and these guys are on your list I wouldn't hesitate. Next to them woud be the place on the Prairie (please send me a PM is you don't catch my meaning) that also offer, but not the same discounts - but they also have access to limiteds and golds. IMO they're #1 and #2 in the business.

I believe the levels are determined by the SKU numbers ordered by dealer. X amount of SKU or model by X number of units per SKU. So, an Authorized Premium + Dealer, in theory, should have more offerings and amount of, than an Authorized Dealer, and so forth. ..I think. If you want this level of Dealership, you would be required to order X amount of SKU's by X amount of units per. Each level coming with their own incentives from BM. Access to Golds and limited's for example
 
It is all about how much and what you buy. AND premium plus dealers do get access to more of the special knives.
