I have been looking into the Active Duty lately, the blade shape and size seem very functional to me. However I have also seen pics of the Boney Active Duty but I cant see any visible differences. Can any one help me out?

The boney active duty is thinner at .125" thick and the active duty is thicker, at .150" thick. Everything else is the same besides the thickness of the blade.

BAD is thinner, and hardened 2 points higher than most INFI for better edge holding and slicing geometry. It is not designed for hard use but still carries the same warranty

The AD and it's variants range in thickness from the .205 HD down to the .125 BAD, as was stated, the BAD's run 61 -62 Rockwell. The BAD's are flat ground, the other AD's are all sabre ground.

The original run was .150, the Milly overrun was ~.195

CS AD .150, HD .205, MAD .195, MAD .195

Besides what Jimmy and others stated above there were a few AD's that were flat ground out of same .170" stock as the .170" leaner that came from 1st Easton show

The bad is a slicer for sure.

One of my more carried pieces. Nice thin pointy tip as well.

I don't worry about using mine. One of the crazies on here batoned his with the spine of another Busse!

Pic with my 6 year old's first fish.

I have always loved the AD design. It just looks cool. Feels great in the hand.

the BAD satisfied a couple of my desires. Thin, pointy, higher hardness Infi!

No choil option would have made it perfect for me. I still love it!
