Difference between gen 4 and gen 3 scales

There should be no difference. The scales are universal for all generations except the original Gen 1.

The stop pin has been moved. There is a difference in the ti scales between the gen 3 and gen 4. I hadn't realized it myself until tonight when someone pointed it out.

Good point! There is no difference between the G-10 scales but I hadn't thought about the Ti. There would have to be an extra hole to allow for the Gen 4 stop pin you mentioned. So I would have to say that a Ti scale for the Gen 4 would have to be made specifically for the Gen 4 while also being usable on the Gen 3 whereas the Gen 3 Ti scale could not be used on the Gen 4.

There could also be more to it than that. I'm trying to recall what the Gen 4 looked like when I took it apart and the more I think about the more I believe that the stop pin was somehow "built-into" the scale side of the knife. Maybe a screw holding in place under the G-10.

Had it confirmed from a couple good guys on another forum. No difference in the G~10 scales from the gen 3 to the gen 4.
