Difference Between Svord Peasant Wood & Poly?

So I've got the wood version Svord Peasant Knife and there are two screws in it and then a tiny brass stopper pin to prevent the knife from spinning 360 degrees on the pivot... But when I look at the Poly Svord knives online, none have said pin in them... so, what prevents them from pivoting 360 degrees? is there just a portion of the Poly mold that does this?
