Difference Between Svord Peasant Wood & Poly?

So I have the wood version Svord Peasant Knife and there are two screws in it and then a tiny brass stopper pin to prevent the knife from spinning 360 degrees on the pivot... But when I look at the Poly Svord knives online, none have said pin in them... so, what prevents them from pivoting 360 degrees? is there just a portion of the Poly mold that does this? Or are the blades different in shape near the pivot area that we don't see?

thanks all :D

I have a poly-handled svord, and it would appear it also has a stop pin, but it does not go all the way through to the outside. You would not be able to see it in pictures, unless the shot was of an open knife and looking down the front of the handle, in the space or trench where the blade goes in when closed :)

Actually, it can be seen better if the knife is open at an 90 degree angle! I'd post a picture but I'm too lazy...hope this helps anyway,

Yeah, they have the same pin, just press-fit in the handle. I'm currently using my "plastic" ones exclusively.

Wonderful knives.
